Just when I’m starting to like the idea of embracing animal fats, I see this: A report about a new study that “found an association between high fat intake and pancreatic cancer risk — specifically, high fat from animal foods.” My husband’s mother died too young of pancreatic cancer, and I’m always alert to news about it. Needless to say, the duck-breast-lover in me was disappointed to read about these new findings.
