As the Ethicurean recently reported, a new study has confirmed that yes, the suspected endocrine disruptor bisphenol A is persistent in human bodies. The guinea pigs? More than six dozen Harvard students, who drank from steel bottles for one week, then BPA-containing polycarbonate bottles for another week. And the results? A 69 percent increase in BPA concentration in the students’ urine. Yum.
