City chicken, country chicken

It’s chick season, and people on farms are gearing up to welcome newbies into the hen houses. Too, it’s time for urban chicken growers to get their chicks in a row, so to speak.

We found two films that touch on the rules and regs of raising chickens in the city: First, a link to some chicken growers in Minneapolis, complete with an explanation of their endeavor, and second, the almost-famous Missoula chicken video:

Wondering how the debate in Missoula played out? The pro-chicken faction won, which means there may be some feathers flying within city limits this summer.
