Chocolate tax, avoided

The Scottish branch of the British Medical Association recently voted on whether or not to tax chocolate. Fortunately for all Scottish chocoholics, the proposal was voted down. Maybe now the association will consider taxes on a true public-health hazard — say, trans fats?
