We’ve written before about librarian Lynne Olver’s food-history project, the Food Timeline. Lately, we’ve been checking out the site’s Christmas food section, featuring history and recipes for such classics as bûche de Noël (the French Christmas cake that looks like a log), wassail, candy canes, and even “American Christmas menus through time.” Dig it.
