The New York Times has discovered CSAs (community-supported agriculture). Yep, it’s a nifty idea: people around the country buy farm shares to keep small farms in business and eat fresh, local, seasonal produce. What the article doesn’t mention is the fact that as farmers’ markets and CSAs become more popular, sometimes they can't keep up with demand.
