Kate Hopkins, the blogger who started Accidental Hedonist, has a nice take on Mark Bittman’s recent blog post about food labels. Bittman writes, “Skip the labels, watch what you buy, and strive for goodness, no matter where you find it.” Hopkins adds, “Quick and easy labeling is a cheap shortcut for us to have food producers tell us what’s good for us . . . Eating well is not a job for the lazy, regardless of what the definition of ‘well’ is.”
