Top 10 food trends

As picked by The Food Channel

By
December 22, 2009

Formerly a food-trends newsletter, now a website focused on cooking, blogging, and videos as well as trends, the Food Channel recently released its list of top 10 food trends. The site says these are its picks for 2010, but most of them sound pretty current for 2009, too.

Cooking from scratch with whole foods, being picky about where your food comes from (the Food Channel calls this “food vetting”), and going sustainable all the way are just three of the items on the list. And oh, yeah, the term “foodie”? No longer does it mean “food snob,” but just “someone who loves food.”
