On her blog, Food Politics, Marion Nestle recently took note of a New York Times business article about soda taxes. (The idea? To treat soda like cigarettes, and levy a “sin tax” on it.) Nestle reprinted the article’s gorgeous graphic, plotting how the cost of real food (i.e., fruits and vegetables) has gone up over the years while the cost of junk (i.e., soda) has gone down.
