So the Food Safety Modernization Act, which passed the House but stalled in the Senate, may finally come up for a Senate vote this week.

Meanwhile, Helena Bottemiller at the blog Food Safety News has been tracking the ruckus over a possible amendment banning bisphenol A from children's food and beverage containers.
