Making cheese

A year in the life of a dairy farm

By
March 10, 2010

The folks behind the multimedia production company Milk Products Media are putting together a documentary film about small-scale cheese production in Ohio. Titled “From Grass to Cheese,” the movie will follow the Nolan family as they learn not only how to farm but how to become artisanal cheesemakers. Milk Products Media plans to follow the family for a year, documenting their learning curve and showing how cheese isn’t just a hunk of homogenized dairy. Check out the filmmakers’ website to find out more about it and learn how you can help the movie get made.
