Earlier this summer, the Organic Valley and Nature’s Path organic-food brands teamed up with the Rodale Institute to support small-scale organic farmers. Called Organic Heroes, the program is an old-fashioned mail-in campaign: Shoppers who send in proofs of purchase from two products get both a magazine subscription to Organic Gardening and a donation made to the Rodale Institute’s Farmers Can Be Heroes program. Interested? You’ve got till November 30 to clip and mail.
