The city of Seattle is considering charging 20 cents per bag at grocery stores and banning Styrofoam containers at restaurants and stores. By 2010, all plastic must be replaced by biodegradable containers and utensils. Says one teriyaki-restaurant owner: “Everybody is going to have to use chopsticks. I can give lessons.”
