‘The Secret Landscape of Food’

A day in the life of vegetables in the garden

Filmmaker Matt Giraud of Gyroscope Pictures spent a year filming vegetables at the 47th Avenue Farm in Portland. The result, “The Secret Landscape of Food,” looks almost like a series of stills — until the bee buzzes by or the hand of the farmer appears.
