Vegan month of food

Blogging through the month

By
October 10, 2011

Maybe you’re a vegan already. Maybe you’re a lapsed vegan. Maybe you’re thinking about going more vegan, à la Mark Bittman.

In any case, for the past five years October has gone vegan, under the rubric of Vegan Month of Food. (The name is generally shortened to the cheeky Vegan MoFo, in allusion to November’s status as National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo.)

Created by vegan activist and cookbook writer Isa Chandra Moskowitz, Vegan MoFo invites interested vegan bloggers around the globe to try to post every day throughout the month, sharing their thoughts and recipes on la vida vegan. Get started by trolling through the project’s lengthy blogroll, or pick an RSS feed by theme, such as raw foods, soy-free, or desserts only.
