About Betsy Oppenneer

Oppenneer has studied at the Culinary Institute of America and Cornell University’s cooking program. She has worked as a food-industry consultant and recipe developer, and regularly appears on such television shows as Sara Moulton’s “Cooking Live.” She started The Breadbasket, a baking-equipment catalog, and has written five books, including The Bread Book and Celebration Breads.
