Wolfert is the author of several classic cookbooks, including The Cooking of Southwest France and The Cooking of the Eastern Mediterranean. Her writing has appeared in such publications as Saveur and Food & Wine. Wolfert has won the Julia Child Award, the James Beard Award, and the M.F.K. Fisher Award. She lives in Sonoma, California.
