The Big Book of Barbecue Sides

Overview

From Culinate

Rick Browne, host of PBS’s “Barbecue America,” takes backyard barbecue well beyond hot dogs and hamburgers (but helpfully each classic recipe is stamped with a label that says so). Although the title hints at a traditional approach to grilling, this book is far from it. Grilled and non-grilled items, vegetarian options, breads, salsas, and desserts make it a book for a household of several cooks — or at least several diets. Helpfully (and perhaps healthfully), many of these side dishes can even be served as main dishes.
