If, when you hear the words “Southern cooking,” you start to salivate, you’ll want to join Kim O’Donnel and her guests Virginia Willis, Adrian Miller, and Sandra Gutierrez for an online roundtable discussion of all foods Southern. Virginia Willis is the author of the acclaimed cookbook Bon Appétit, Y’all. The recipes in her next book, Basic to Brilliant, Y’all, just out from Ten Speed Press, transform classic Southern recipes into dishes that will wow your guests.

Adrian Miller is a culinary historian, a certified barbecue judge, and a former official in the Clinton administration; he can probably answer any question you might have about cooking in the White House. Miller is working on a book about the history of soul food.

Sandra Gutierrez has just released her new book, The New Southern-Latino Table, which marries food traditions from more than 20 Latin American countries with the beloved foods of the American South.
