Introduction
Serve straight from the freezer in small vodka glasses or pour over ice in old-fashioned glasses.
Ingredients
| 2 | medium pink or white grapefruits (about 1 pound each) |
| 1¾ | l (1 large bottle) vodka |
Steps
- Using a citrus stripper or zester, or a vegetable peeler, remove zest (not white pith underneath) from grapefruits. In a 2-quart bottle or bowl, combine zest and vodka. Allow to stand, covered, for 4 to 7 days. Strain into vodka bottle. Store in freezer until serving.
