Cranberry Marmalade Wine Sauce

Introduction

Two holiday favorites--oranges and cranberries--combine flavors with Burgandy red wine to make a delicious and nutritious accompaniment.

Ingredients

1 bag fresh cranberries
6 oranges
2 cups sugar
2 cups Burgandy Red Wine

Steps

  1. Peel the skin from the oranges and julienne the orange peels.
  2. Remove seeds and place oranges, peel, sugar and cranberries in pot.
  3. Bring to boil and cook over medium heat until the cranberries pop and become a thick syrup.
  4. Place in serving dish,refrigerate until set and then serve.
