Peppermint Green Iced Tea

From the recipe box Beverages by

Introduction

In my Bluebird CSA box this week, I found fresh, organic loose tea leaves. I decided to make iced tea since it was a sunny spring day. The results were refreshingly delightful and healthy. Enjoy!

Ingredients

2 Tbsp. of fresh green tea leaves
2 Tbsp. of fresh peppermint leaves
2 qt. of filtered water

Steps

  1. Fill a glass container with 2 quarts of filtered water. Put loose tea leaves in an organic tea bag and tie it closed. Place tea bag in water. Cover container and set in sunny window or directly outside for about 1 hour. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves. So delicious it doesn’t need added sugar. Delightfully healthy!
