The Waitsfield Farmers’ Market on the Mad River Green is a gathering place for locals and an exciting destination for tourists in the Mad River Valley. Running from mid May through mid October, the market offers the finest organic vegetables, flower bouquets, breads and pies, honey, lunch foods, jams, and maple syrup. In addition to the farm products, the market has a diverse craft vendor base, where one can pick up handmade clothes and hats, jewelry, handcrafted furniture, blown glass, and so many other things! Every morning there is a talented local musician or band, and there is plenty of room on the lawn or under the tent to sit and enjoy the music and visit with friends.
