Cactus preserves

Based in Tucson, Cheri's Desert Harvest makes handmade preserves, syrups, and other sweet treats from such local produce as prickly-pear cactus and chile peppers.

Pistachios

The Arizona Pistachio Company has grown pistachios in southern Arizona’s high-desert climate for more than 30 years. Nothing fancy here — just roasted, salted, delicate nuts.

Oregano

Sonoran oregano is one of the most flavorful and distinctive oreganos in the world. The oregano sold by the Center for Sustainable Environments at Northern Arizona University is harvested by Seri Indians; the product is certified fair trade, and all profits go to the tribe.
