On Sandhill Farm, sorghum syrup provides a quarter of the egalitarian community’s income. It’s a traditional sweetener best drizzled over pancakes or biscuits or baked with beans or barbecue.
The artisanal treats made by Kansas City’s Christopher Elbow Chocolates fall into the innovative, not traditional, box of chocolates: passionfruit, lavender caramel, Russian tea, fresh lime. The company also sells chocolate bars, drinking chocolate, and chocolate-covered nuts.

You must must try Toasted Ravioli on the hill in St. Louis anytime you are in that area! Also, the Bar-B-Cue from Kansas City is a delight beyond compare! As is the Frozen Custard back in St. Louie, MO!

we have our own yummy straight from the farm milk, called shatto. you should check them out at http://www.shattomilk.com/
Shatto Milk Company is a small, family owned and operated, dairy farm located just north of the Kansas City metropolitan area. Our family has been farming here for more than 100 years and began a dairy farm more than 60 years ago. In June 2003 our family began processing our own milk on the farm. We decided to bottle our own milk for the purpose of providing our customers with the freshest and best tasting dairy products possible.
Shatto Milk Company products can be described by one simple statement that we have adopted as our motto, MILK AT ITS FINEST. Our family goes to great lengths to insure that the products we sell are truly the freshest and best tasting.
