Editor’s note: Congratulations to the grand prize winner from Oakland, CA — Elis and a guest will be spending the weekend in Napa in early October.

Congratulations to Terry, from Belton, Texas, who just won a trip to grill school in Napa, California! Terry and a companion will attend the Mastering the Grill class at the Copia Center in Napa.

And guess what? We are offering a second, identical trip right here and now. That’s right: you could still win big.

Culinate is excited to co-sponsor GrillMe ’08, part 2, in which we, along with the Copia Center and Southwest Airlines, give away a second trip for two to the grilling class at Copia, taught by Andrew Schloss and David Joachim, authors of Mastering the Grill.

Last year, we sent GrillMe contest-winner Deb, of the blog Smitten Kitchen, to this class, and she was, well, smitten with it.

Grilled Salmon, Steak, Corn and Stuffed Peppers
Learn to grill salmon, steak, or vegetables.

We think you will be, too.

Airfare, two nights’ lodging, and tuition for the grilling class are all provided to one lucky person and a friend.

The trip can be made on either of two weekends in 2008: October 4-5, or October 11-12.

You won’t want to miss this trip! October is prime time in Napa, with the beginning of the fall grape harvest and the crush in full swing.

Want to know more about the Mastering the Grill class? Check out Deb’s slideshow from the class last August, or Elise of Simply Recipes’ enthusiastic review of Schloss and Joachim’s book and the 2007 class.

Then, go to the Official Contest Page to enter before noon (PDT) on Thursday, July 31, 2008.

Finally, as a special bonus for entering, you will be eligible to win a copy of Mastering the Grill (one drawing every two weeks throughout the contest period).

Good luck!
