I guess I know what I’m going to make this weekend. It brings back many a young memory, especially because the usual way was with milk. Our family did not always have extra milk for this treat, so it was made with water.

One of my favorite hot chocolate memories is of ice-skating at Rockefeller Center with my dad when I was about three or four years old. We were on vacation and it was my first time on skates. After a long afternoon of skating, we had hot chocolate on the way home.

I’m a hot chocolate fiend! Once I drank a mug of hot chocolate that was so hot it scalded my taste buds off and I couldn’t taste anything normally for 3 days, that was the last time I ate anything my sister made!

I like the chocolate made with water. When I was growing up my dad made hot chocolate for us on special occasions - it was always better than mom’s and even she would say this. It has created a “warm” memory.

I’ve never really liked milk and have always preferred water based hot chocolate. I love to drink hot chocolate while snuggling under a warm blanket and watching classic movies.

Have to be creative when you’re lactose intolerant! This fits the bill.
I think my favorite hot chocolate moments is when my daughter saw snow for the first time. She was bundled up, arms sticking straight out, letting snowflakes fall on her face. After we were thoroghly frozen, we went inside for hot chocolate. Delightful!
