Ti Punch

By , from the Jacob Grier collection
Serves 1

Introduction

This is a classic rhum agricole cocktail from the French Caribbean. It features the same ingredients as the caipirinha, but is a little more restrained.

Ingredients

2 oz. rhum agricole
1 tsp. simple syrup (preferably made with unrefined sugar)
½ lime

Steps

  1. Squeeze the lime into a rocks glass and drop in the spent fruit. Add the other ingredients, stir with ice, and serve. If a little more sweetness is desired, increase the amount of syrup to taste.
