Rosh Hashanah Apple Salsa

From the The Jew and the Carrot collection by Leah Koenig
Serves 4

Ingredients

3 medium or 2 big apples, cored and roughly chopped
1 small onion, roughly chopped
½ jalapeño chile, deseeded and finely choped
~ A big handful of fresh cilantro, finely chopped
~ Juice of one lemon
2 tsp. agave nectar or maple syrup

Steps

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir to combine, then serve with tortilla chips. This salsa tastes great served right away and even better the next day, when the flavors have had time to mingle.
