Love Joel Salatin’s methods/message. Instead of meatless Monday’s around here we have “homegrown days” where it’s all from one of our animals, our garden, something I’ve canned, etc. If we run out of things we’ve produced (with 3 boys a whole steer can go pretty fast!) we buy local. Local hogs, local ground beef from a local small scale butcher and local cows. Farmer’s market and CSA.
