I am a writer and Chicago native and the Editor-in-Chief of Pour Magazine Chicago, an online wine lifestyle magazine for Chicago. I am studying for my intermediate level certification to become a certified Sommelier.
I also contribute to Examiner Chicago as a food channel writer, where I write about food trends in Chicago as well as how-to articles with a local flare.
In addition to the above, I am Principal of Pour PR, a public relations firm specializing in creating projects for wineries, wine retailers, restaurants and specialty stores launch their goods & services to the public through events, education, special events and social media marketing.
Being an experienced event planner I founded Chicago City Sippers, a women’s only wine tasting group, in 2006, in which I plan wine tasting events for women looking for a unique wine education experience in the Chicago land area.
My continued love affair with all things wine and food related led me to Lux Marketing Group where I was a wine demonstrator. This position has allowed me to educate consumers on newer high profile wines available in the Chicago market that they would not otherwise purchase, as well as offer food pairing suggestions with the wines that were purchased.
In the spare time I do have, I enjoy watching movies and hanging out with my four beautiful teenage daughters, who love to be the taste testers for anything that I create in the kitchen.

Great food for a warm day! Made this a couple hours ago. My kids love it, and so do I, so fresh and crispy!
One of Chicago’s premier chefs, Roy Yamaguchi of Roy’s Restaurants did a cooking demo along with Chef Jackie Shen of Red Light also here in Chicago and I sampled Chef Roy’s Seafood Ceviche in a Pumpkin shell.
Two eggs on the sunny side with fresh scallions and flat leaf parsley, with a sprinkling of freshly ground black pepper and sea salt.
