I wanted people to know I received my win today- I love the Cookbook! Thankyou for sending me a new edition - the 75th edition of the joy of cooking- thankyou so much for being so awesome in sending it out, and thankyou and Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays to all who contribute and make this site so amazing to come to learn, create and be entertained. So far I have made three of the items from the sweet 16..we had amazing time making marshmellows. The fudge was amazing and really for the price- the gingersnaps were so much better than the store bought...so thankyou all for your recipes!

I love this site- you folks have the simple to make but taste complicated recipes. I admit I am learning everyday something new and you folks are filling my desert card with unusual yummy treats for the family..thankyou. I have made the marshmallows, and they are easy and a great project for kids even if they do not turn out looking like marshmallows when you do it, they taste yummy.

This actually looks good and easy to make. I do have a question though, when I go to the store they have regular beans and vegetarian beans..aren’t all beans vegetarian to start with? and how does a bean become vegetarian then?

I am pretty sure culinate has a camera in my house spying on us, becuase I was just looking in books for an easy recipe- no joking. I want to thankyou folks for easy to do recipes, even for those baking for years, the simple recipes that work and are delicious stand out. I have already made the marshmellows and will be making this in the next few days also. These are also tasty when someone is sick or going through chemo, the ginger seems to soothe the tummy. Thankyou.

Frosted Chocolate Cookies by LOVESTOBAKEJUSTLAZY on Dec 2, 2008 at 3:15 PM PST
Was wondering- can you premake the dough- I like to premake dough/mixes and keep it in the fridge- and we make them warm with cocoa or when groups drop by..how well does the dough stand up- these sound like the cookies my grandma used to make to, and sound yummy but I like to make them fresh and warm each time.
