I was blown away when I first started reading some of the gorgeous food blogs out there (favorites are Tartelette and Simply Recipes)...but it was extremely intimidating when I was ready to start my own. I’m blessed to have a fiance that was a photography major, and a Nikon armed with fabulous lenses, so the photos on my site often turn out quite beautifully. But its true that sometimes we’re so fixated on getting good shot that we’re hardly even hungry once its time for dinner. Oh well.

Seems like just one more argument in favor of waiting for tomatoes to come into season and buy local!

Great interview. I just joined a CSA in my area for the first time and I’m really looking forward to being a part of such a wonderful effort.
