I am the mother of 5 children, 3 of which are highly sensitive to additives, preservatives, pesticides, and/or sugar. Because of this, we buy, grow, and raise organic foods, prepare most things from scratch, and read labels. Given that my husband is diabetic, meals are scrutinized even further at home.
I call myself a ProACTIVist. Proactive is a term that means “acting in advance to deal with an expected difficulty”. This is what we do when we live mindfully and deliberately.
