It’s so wonderful today that you can travel the world in recipes and restaurants. Sampling different cuisines & enjoying them that’s fun
I also enjoy Mom’s comfort foods. It brings back memories of years gone by & family get togethers.
Children waste alot of food in our lunchrooms, because the food is terrible. We live in one of the richest counties in New Jersey. The food is unhealthy, not eye appealing, & not made with many fresh ingredients.
Crock pots are great. You can cook much better meals in them today without throwing in a can of condensed soup. Fresh ingredients or frozen ones will work well. They also help you to economize, not waste food, & make great foods from scratch. I’ve made my own pasta sauce, pumpkin butter, jams, cranberry sauce, and even ketchup. These are useful items to have the ability to slow cook, besides main dishes & soups.
