My boss came back from vacation with a pint of New Hampshire maple syrup for each of us. Since I had to peel off for a few hours, I stopped at home for lunch and ate more french toast than is conducive to productivity.
freak summer thunderstorms meant that I had to broil the sweet onions and zucchini I had lying around. but served with a new potato, green bean, sweet onion, salad, and frosty iced tea, it worked out. even though we ate on the floor in the wet heat. dessert was blueberries and pitted cherries served in a bowl with some creamline milk.
