Had fun pounding up a batch of pesto--eaten with Pasta, roasted potatoes, and green beans.
Cooking chick peas to have with some spinach from yesterday’s market--and steamed new potatoes as well. Off to pick the parsley...
with cucumber cilantro salad and harissa on baguette.
Making a nettle frittata--wish I had some ricotta, but will have to manage with just delicious market eggs.
But not too little. They probably still need the chokes out. Quick ideas? Some sort of saute?
From Heirloom Beans--actually, used flageolet instead. Delicious!
Big corona beans, some chopped sage, and a little delicious olive oil. With a green salad, it was a very satisfying dinner!
Grilled Merguez sausage, cucumber-feta salad, some raw peppers, and a dish of vanilla ice cream.
mmm....Straus Yogurt, delicious nectarines--not much better. Oh yeah--a brioche on the side, and a cappuccino after (to ensure large dairy intake).
quickly cooked blanched swiss chard, garlic and a couple smashed anchovies in oil, and then added to some beaten eggs. Cooked a few minutes on each side. A glass of rose and some salad. Leftovers cold, for lunch.
