OMG. i love hanami. when we lived in japan, i could not get enough. sometimes i went 2x a day (lunch being bought bento, alas). great tips, a la bittman. and inspiring!! now don’t forget tsukimi, in the fall. another excuse to picnic (and make kushidango!)

SUPER yum. we don’t eat enough asian food, since we are an hour from an asian grocery (gasp!). however, we’re heading there on friday and will stock up. i can’t WAIT!
