Enjoyed the article and love pies. Would love to win the book and delve into pie making.
Would love to read more and give recipes a try. I need to take a look at my diet and make changes, exactly what January is all about!
All the kids were in for the holidays,of course, I wanted to make all of their favorites. Instead of making a full pie, I decided to make individual tarts. The shells were made and browned all I had to do was cook the filling. I have always be able to make the most perfect coconut cream pie, but this time the filling did not set and I had tart overflow. We ate coconut soup instead of pie for dessert!

It would be hard to choose just one book so here are a few of my favorites. The Inn at Litle Washington Cookbook A Consuming Passion by Patrick O’Connell is one of my favorites. The recipes are delicious in addition to being stunning. Mark Peel’s New Classic Family Dinners...great instructions, beautiful photos and delicious recipes. I love to try new recipes and enjoy making each a visual delight.
