I wish I did, but sadly no. It is similar to the Australian pavlova, but not the same. It was a meringue shell baked in a spring form so crispy outside, a bit gooey inside then filled with fresh whipped cream and strawberries. Is there anything similar in the Hungarian repetoire?

My Grandma (also Kati) prepared many of the dishes you mentioned and was a great canner as well. Has she ever made a meringue cake filled fresh strawberries and whipped cream? It was a favorite of mine growing up.
