‘What I Eat’ for you by Leah Hyman on Oct 13, 2010 at 1:23 PM PDT
Yesterday I ate:
breakfast- a bowl of granola
mid morning- tortilla chips/coffee cake (weird!)
lunch- turkey sandwich with lettuce and mustard on whole wheat bread from home
mid-afternoon- an apple
dinner- pasta with tomato sauce, ricotta and chicken sausage and a salad
1/2 of a beer
and lots of water
Apple Cakes of Fall by Leah Hyman on Oct 5, 2009 at 2:46 PM PDT
My very most favorite apple cake is Teddy’s Apple Cake, republished in the NY Times a year or so ago. It is an oil based apple walnut raisin bundt cake, and the best thing I can think of to do with apples. Really hearty and satisfying yet not too sweet.
