Linguine with a diablo sauce I made from the tomatoes out of the garden and some broiled shrimp on top, and then some apricot and cranberry pie for dessert.
Dinner was homemade turkey-burger sloppy joes and then honey lavender panna cotta
honeydew cubed with a ginger-lime dressing - so refreshing!
Used quinoa instead! Milk, butter, brown sugar, nutmeg and quinoa. Delish!
Bought some organic free-range eggs and made it into a simple egg salad with mayo & dijon mustard. Put that on some whole-grain toast, and that was a delicious breakfast!
Good ol’ fish n’ chips last night with a Guinness - divine!
I made this last night along with some Garlic-Parmesan Catfish, and it was a great meal! www.culinate.com/recipes/collections/Culinate+Kitchen/Salads/Quinoa+Salad+with+Lemon+Dressing
I also baked a loaf of Strawberry Bread and brought it to work today. It was the first time I made it, and boy is it good!

Today was the last day of classes for our students here at an adult ed center. Our English-As-A-Second-Language class had a feast, with students bringing in food from their home countries of Iraq, Cuba, Russia, India, Vietnam, and elsewhere. I had lime-infused rice and cashew barfi from India, pork spring rolls from Vietnam, many Eastern European sweets, and Moroccan tea. It was a marvelous lunch!
