Kohlrabi again by teaisfun on Aug 11, 2009 at 1:16 PM PDT
I also like it peeled and sprinkled with some Fluer de Sal. I am going to try it steamed this evening though. Sounds good.
Who should play James Beard in the movie? by teaisfun on May 7, 2009 at 9:59 AM PDT
Bliss and two tarts cookies! It is such a great combo. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
Who should play James Beard in the movie? by teaisfun on May 6, 2009 at 3:50 PM PDT
They could make a movie kind of like “I’m not There” and a whole bunch of actors and food lovers could play James Beard during different times in his life.
Of bread and syrup in the Wisconsin woods by teaisfun on Apr 2, 2009 at 2:01 PM PDT
That sounds like so much fun. I don’t know where you live, but I miss Northern Wisco. I used to go up there quite a bit when I was a kid to ice fish and ski. I loved reading this story.
Jasmine-Tea-Infused Whipped Cream by teaisfun on Mar 25, 2009 at 4:55 PM PDT

Do you soft boil the egg then add it in the soup, or do you just crack the egg right into it? Either way, I bet it would be really good.
Love books? We’ve got an offer for you by teaisfun on Mar 6, 2009 at 3:10 PM PST
I currently don’t have time to read and review a book, but I love the idea and would be interested in participating in the future.
Oh, and I did notice a typo in the subtitle of Cooking Green. It reads carbon “tootprint”, which is very funny, but I think it is supposed to read “footprint”.
The carrot quandary by teaisfun on Mar 4, 2009 at 4:55 PM PST
Love the story.
What a Surprise! by teaisfun on Mar 4, 2009 at 4:52 PM PST
I have not had the Tea Cup’s Earl Grey, but I will give it a try next time I travel up to Seattle. I like our Earl Grey the best, but I might be a bit biased. I’ really loving green teas that taste of spring right now. It gets me in the mood for gardening, so I can plant more of those delicious carrots.

Hi Kim.
We currently don’t offer tea to stay, but you can get a 12 ounce cup to go. You can most definitely get loose leaf tea though. We now have about 45 to choose from. I look forward to meeting you. The carrots gave me hope for spring as well.
The Dandy Hamdelion Pizza with Lapsang Souchong Caramelized Red Onions by teaisfun on Feb 4, 2009 at 9:20 AM PST
Made this last night with watercress instead of dandelion greens and it was really good. We also substituted cantal cheese for the fontina. If you haven’t had cantal cheese yet, you should run on over to New Seasons and purchase some. It is very affordable and packed with flavor.
Pho’ Losselyong by teaisfun on Jan 29, 2009 at 12:45 PM PST
That’s a really good idea. I will have to try that this week.
Soft-Boiled Eggs by teaisfun on Jan 28, 2009 at 3:47 PM PST
Do you use one of those fancy egg cutters?
Beef Bourguignon is dreamy and last meal worthy! by teaisfun on Jan 6, 2009 at 1:23 PM PST
I’ve never tried roasting a Dungeness before, but I will give it a try on the next go around. The meal sounds really good.
