Looking forward to dinner tonight. Ragu over fresh homemade rigatoni with a Little T baguette to sop everything up.
We made this last night and it turned out great. Made it all in a cast iron pan. Such great flavor.
Smoked Trout Spread on a bagel with capers and tomatoes!
Homemade smoked trout on a endive and steamed potato salad with mustard vinaigrette and pickled beets and radishes on the side.
First time trying to make these. Excited!
I have some lettuce in the garden that is near its end (bitter), but I don’t want to just throw it out. Any ideas?
bringing this to the free Mt. Tabor Concert tonight.
This has been my favorite breakfast choice over the last few weeks because I have a garden full of lettuce and jars full of homemade lapsang souchong/mushroom worcestershire sauce. Easy to make: cut up lettuce, fry eggs and top with worcestershire sauce. Yum!
I made my best burger yet last night. I used some beef from Laurelhurst Market and mixed it with some diced onions and liberally added my homemade lapsang souchong worcestershire sauce and a little s&p. 4-5 minutes a side and it was perfectly cooked and incredibly moist.
We just made some Migas for brunch on Sunday and they turned out delicious, very similar to Chilaquiles. We used a Willamette Valley Havarti that we got from the farmers market. It was the perfect cheese for that dish.
That sounds delicious. I’m heading there in a few minutes to pick up some bacon so my scallops have someone to snuggle with. Enjoy your dinner. On second thought, hot dogs go with scallops, right. hahaha
We had this in Mexico last week and it was so good we replicated it last night using a Emeril recipe. What a great soup to make with leftover tortillas.
I had the pleasure of having a mild italian and a spicy italian sausage from the Laurelhurst Market yesterday. Delicious. I’m so happy they are finally open.
I got some watercress (roots still attached) at New Seasons a few weeks back, gave it a flat top, used the cress in a salad and planted the roots in the garden. Today I will give it a flat top again. I can’t believe this is the first time I thought of doing that. You think butter lettuce will work? They usually come with roots as well I believe. Worth a try.
Still dreaming about the grilled cheese we made last night with some delicious cheese from Steve’s Cheese and Sally Lund bread from Little T. A perfect combo.
Looks like my wife is going to make us baked tofu sandwiches with pesto and fresh veggies on
little t's slab bread. I can’t wait.
You don’t hear about to many people asking people to put chemicals on their fruits and vegetables. Does anyone know how the First Lady responded to this letter?
