Calling down the wok

It’s on the top shelf. At least I think it’s still there. I’ll be needing it this week -- received an “Asian pack” in my co-op produce basket. Stir fry, anyone?

Citrus stings

I’m squeezing, squeezing, squeezing the very last of the citrus. My hands sting, but come summer, I’ll be glad.

Whole lotta chocolate

Here’s a dangerous car air freshener idea: the scent of chocolate ganache. Just picked up an amazing cake from Sweet Pea (http://www.sweetpeaaz.com) for a function tonight. Danielle, the owner, told me the cake (a 14-incher) was heavy enough to ride home in my back seat without a tumble -- and she was right. We (the cake, my daughter and I) pulled into the driveway with neither scratched nor snitched ganache. A true feat!
