Grapefruit is special because it requires that you take your time with it. We all need a little more fruit like that in our lives, I say! :)
I’m squeezing, squeezing, squeezing the very last of the citrus. My hands sting, but come summer, I’ll be glad.
I’m glad to know beets don’t really stain (turns out my tee and khakis came away from the beet experience yesterday without a spot). Must be one of those lingering myths-my-mother-told-me kind of things.
