Thanks for the ideas! I usually buy a bunch to use in a recipe and then all but a few stalks rot in the refrigerator.

So true. The more I cook (I’ve been blogging and cooking about 2 years now) the more comfortable I am with cooking by the seat of my pants, the more fun it becomes.

I have heard of this, I don’t think it’s a bad thing if it gets people to eat real food instead of processed diet “food.” :-)

Oh hey, this is a very timely article! I have some milk that needs to be made into fromage blanc . . . with some homemade crackers this would be a great party item!

I’m so disappointed, I have a couple of persimmon recipes that I wanted to try only to discover that they are not grown this far north (I live in Michigan). And it kind of defeats the local/environmentally friendly purpose if I order them and have them shipped :-)
